Photospital uses AI

Photospital's restoration and editing tools are powered by artificial intelligence. When you use a cloud tool (Magic, Colorize, Repair, Enhance, Upscale, Erase, Remove, AI Edit, Filters, Hair Color, Animate), your photo is securely transmitted to our processing partner (Replicate, Inc.) to run the AI model, and the result is returned to your device. Photos are processed to fulfil your request and are not used to train models by us. Some tools (Face Retouch, Blur Background, Headshot, Film Look, Adjust) run entirely on your device and never leave it.

AI results are reconstructions

Restoring a damaged or low-quality photo requires the AI to infer detail that no longer exists. Restored faces, colors, and textures are plausible reconstructions — not recovered facts. Colors added to black-and-white photos are estimates. Results may occasionally be inaccurate, distorted, or depict people differently than they actually appeared.
